Billiat: He Knows Us
Posted: 15 October 2021
Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs FC will lock horns against former gaffer Gavin Hunt as they welcome Chippa United to the FNB Stadium tomorrow evening.
Chiefs have started the season in poor fashion and will need to start picking up maximum points with their supporters slowly but securely beginning to get restless.
The club’s superstar, Khama Gaucho Billiat, says they play against a dangerous side and a manager who knows them, saying;
“Yeah, we back, shifting the focus, we are now. It will not be easy, the weekend is going to be a big fight. We just gonna make sure that we stick to our gameplan and we believe in our gameplan.
“We feel good, I feel good and I think it’s time we get those little things that we do that makes a difference. Scoring more goals, defending our goal/s as a team, going forward as a team and just be on top of our game you know.
“It’s not going to be easy, especially playing against Coach Gavin (Hunt), he used to be here, he knows the players, he knows the individuals and he has got experience as well you know. It’s not going to be easy but it’ll be a great experience for us to play him now and put ourselves in a better situation,” concluded Billiat.
Hunt will be facing his former employers since being sacked by the club after ten (10) months into a three-year deal and this encounter has become a six-pointer early on into the campaign. The two clubs will battle it out tomorrow in Soweto, with kickoff pencilled in for 17:H00 SA time.
