Seema Wary of Royal Ahead of Derby
Posted: 10 December 2021
Lamontville Golden Arrows will face a high-flying Royal AM FC in the KwaZulu Natal derby this weekend.
Royal, who come from a defeat against Mamelodi Sundowns FC but showed finesse and hunger, will be desperate to pick up maximum points when they face their local rivals. Arrows’ Head Coach Lehlohonolo Seema is aware of the danger that Royal poses, saying;
“We are playing a very dangerous and spirited Royal AM, you can see where they are on the log, they’ve been doing well so far. We have seen them play against Sundowns, it’s a team that goes forward all the time with every opportunity they get.
“We have to guard against their speedy players upfront, and to make sure that we give them the respect that they deserve.
“However, as Golden Arrows, we are focusing more on ourselves because we believe in ourselves and we believe in the team. The guys have been working very hard and we are looking forward to a difficult game, and we are expecting them to come at us,” concluded Seema.
The grass is set to suffer when the two KZN sides do battle on Sunday, with kickoff pencilled in for 15:H30, live on SuperSport.
