Zwane Explains Why ‘Mshini’ Hasn’t Played Much

Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs FC returned to the turf for the first time in two (2) weeks after reporting that they had suffered an outbreak of Corona Virus at their ground of Naturena.

AmaKhosi faced Sekhukhune United and won the game by a two-nil (2-0) margin, with starlet Nkosingiphile Ngcobo scoring and creating another. The Beautiful Game asked Assistant Coach Arthur Zwane why hasn’t the gifted playmaker played much, and he said to us;

“Sometimes in football, more especially since we come from a season that was very, very tough, for us playing in CAF Champions League and also playing domestic league and cup games at the same time, so him and Njabulo (Blom) and many other youngsters played a lot of games.

“We could see them dropping a little bit, in terms of having fatigue and we had to manage him.

“We can see him now coming back, he is alive again and we’re happy to see, especially in this game today, showcasing his talent and perform like he did,” he concluded.

Chiefs’ fans and supporters alike will be delighted to see their academy graduate reliving the quality of last season and playing regularly from hereon in.
