South Africa’s most sought-after and successful Head Coach Pitso John Jingles Mosimane has confirmed that his previous club, Mamelodi Sundowns FC benefited from the education he received from the South African Football Association (SAFA).

Mosimane arrived at The Brazilians having been sacked from the national team, where he did brilliantly well in seven and a half years with the Tshwane giants, saying;

“They were very good to me (SAFA), they took me to school in Germany, they invested in me to be the Coach of South Africa and they kept me for one a half years to be the Coach of Bafana Bafana (laughs).

“For me it was a waste of resources, why do you give me five (5) years of experience of being in the Confederations Cup, the World Cup, take me to school in Germany and then you fire me after one and a half years?

“Infact, their the ones (Mamelodi Sundowns FC) who benefited from my sacking from Bafana Bafana because I won everything with Sundowns, everything huh,” he concluded.

Mosimane also said he is now on a global space and competing against the Barcelona’s, the Bayern Munich’s in the Club World Cup.
