South African football is feeling the pinch of the dreaded Corona Virus with Kaizer Chiefs FC suffering the most in recent days.

The Phefeni Glamour Boys have confirmed that the squad have been hit with no less than thirty one (31) cases and have requested the league to postpone all their December games.

Chiefs, who have been scheduled to play against Cape Town City FC in Western Cape tomorrow but have since requested a postponement.

The Glamour Boys also made a request to have their games against Golden Arrows (8 December), Sekhukhune FC (12 December), Royal AM (19 December) and Maritzburg United (22 December) to all be reconsidered due to the virus.

It is a long call from Chiefs with the Africa Cup of Nations in sight in January and with the league having to take the backseat while the continental competition takes place.
