Mamelodi Sundowns FC midfielder Andile Jali has once again proved his worth to the capital club in the last two games he featured in.

Jali, who started the season struggling to make the Match-day twenty three (23) man squad for three games in succession, has now become a proper poster boy for The Brazilians.

‘Gattuso’, as the 31-year-old is affectionately known in football, was simply unplayable against his former employers Orlando Pirates Football Club and again last night when they dispatched Lamontville Golden Arrows 4-1 on aggregate to progress to the final of the MTN 8, where either Swallows FC or Cape Town City FC wait in anticipation.

Former Downs’ Head Coach, Pitso Jingles Mosimane, once said of the robust anchorman;

“Jali is Jali guys, you can’t Coach the guy, what do you say to him? Of course he hasn’t started great at Sundowns and maybe can’t play every week but really. The boy is out of this world huh?

“I watch him at training and in matches and I’m like ‘Wow what a footballer’, the boy is something else my friend,” he concluded.

The Matatiele-born midfield kingpin skippered the Brazilians yesterday against Abafana Bes’Thende and the his coaches will be delighted with the box-to-box experienced campaigner.
