Sky Sports in England have told us in the last hour that Arsenal Football Club are considering an offer from Everton FC.

The Gunners’ technical director, Edu, has been in conversation with Manager Mikel Arteta about the possibility of allowing midfielder Ainsley Cory Maitland-Niles to join Rafa Benitez’ side on a season-long loan.

We understand the meeting between Edu, Arteta and his technical staff began at around 10:H45am this morning at the Colney Training Centre, Arsenal’s training facilities.

The deliberations are still on going and a decision would be made before the end of business day later this afternoon.
