It’s D-Day At The PSL’s Headquarters
Posted: 17 July 2021
It is set to be yet another fracas between the South African Premier Soccer League and GladAfrica Championship side Royal AM FC at the PSL’s Headquarters in Parktown, Johannesburg, today.
The league’s Prosecutor, Nande Becker, last week, charged Royal AM FC for their no-show in all of their PSL/NFD Promotional playoffs and with the club suffering walkover’s in those fixtures.
However, Royal’s Technical Director, Sinky Mnisi, yesterday, confirmed that they will not attend their Disciplinary Hearing this morning as their case is still at the High Court.
The stance of the club has forced the PSL not to release the fixtures of the new league season or at least, the commencement of the 2021/2022 campaign, with all the clubs still in the dark as to when the new season will season.
South African football will once again be tainted this afternoon and the PSL is expected to deliver a harsh and stern punishment to Royal AM FC for their no-show today.
