DSTV Premiership side Black Leopards are fast running out of time to save themselves from the dreaded relegation after being hammered 3-0 by Orlando Pirates Football Club yesterday evening in Soweto.

The Beautiful Game asked Leopards’ Head Coach Lehohonolo Seema if this period is the most toughest in his entire coaching career, and he said to us;

“Yeah, for sure. It’s true, it’s the experience that we are here and I’m learning, I’m getting there. Ja, we’ll fight and help the team and we’re working together as a team and with the management. We still have the support of the management; and you can see that the players are still fighting.

“We had a few chances, and had we converted one or two, we could have been talking a different story. So the fight of the players, you can see their hunger, the disappointment on their faces at the end of the match, they still like ‘Hey, we are pushing and we didn’t get anything’.

When asked about any positives from the drubbing, he said;

“The positives is that we never looked down and we’re not giving up. We’ll go back and try and train, recover and we’re on the road to Port Elizabeth to face Chippa United next Tuesday,” concluded Seema.

Lidhoda Duvha next travel to Eastern Cape to face another relegation-threatened side in the form of Chippa United, which looks to be a six-pointer clash next week Tuesday.
