Kerr It’s NOT About Cash!

Newly-formed DSTV Premiership side Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila head into their first-ever Cup Final tomorrow evening in Bloemfontein against Chippa United in the Nedbank Cup.

The club’s Head Coach, Dylan Kerr tells The Beautiful Game what is needed, from his perspective, to lift the Cup Final and what it’s all about being a winner in this auspicious occasion, saying;

“Well I think… I’ve been preaching to these players each and every game that they can play like this (referring to the victory over Kaizer Chiefs). I think the pressure of them wanting to be selected on Saturday gave us a very good showing and I hope we not going to leave that performance in Limpopo when we travel all the way to Bloemfontein.

“I want that performance against Chiefs replicated, or even better on Saturday. And like I said, there has been nobody injured in this past ten (10) days; everybody has been pronounced fit.

“You don’t need to motivate anybody for a Cup final; I’ve been in Cup finals, I’ve been in Championship-winning teams, the motivation is there itself. It’s not about cash, financial gain, it’s about winning the trophy, it’s about putting your name into South Africa’s soccer history books,” concluded the Englishman.

The final will take place in Bloemfontein tomorrow evening, with kickoff scheduled for 18:H00 both on pay-television bouquet and the national broadcaster.
