Gunners Ponder Star Sale
Posted: 30 November 2020
English giants Arsenal Football Club are pondering the sale of club record-signing Nicholas Pepe in the January Transfer Window or the summer.
Pepe, who arrived at The Emirates Stadium with much fan-fare and hope in and around him, has failed to live up to expectations despite being given numerous opportunities by previous gaffer Unai Emery and current manager Mikel Arteta.
However, we understand the Gunners are desperate to avoid a repeat of the Mesut Ozil situation with their £72m club-record signing.
The Ivory Coast International has had a topsy-turvy time out at Arsenal, and could be walking out the gates of London Colney in a month’s time if the club can recoup some of the money they spent on him.
The Beautiful Game can also confirm that there hasn’t been any offer on the table yet for the left-footed winger, but with his name set to be on the exit list, there might be clubs lining up for his signature, both in England and across Europe.
