Liverpool To Leave Melwood After 70 Years
Posted: 27 October 2020
English Premier League Champions Liverpool will bid farewell to Melwood next month after being the home of their training facility for 70 years, with the club’s new state-of the-art complex officially to be known as ‘AXA Training Centre’.
The Reds have expanded their partnership with AXA to include the naming rights of their new training centre at Kirkby.
The renewed agreement will see AXA expand its original training kit relationship to one focused more holistically on training as a whole and become the club’s official training partner, incorporating all training apparel.
The move will see the first team and youth football operations come together at a combined training facility for the first time in its history in order to motivate the youngsters at the club.
