Orlando Pirates Football Club unveiled their new playing kits for the next campaign, joining the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns FC and Kaizer Chiefs to have modelled their new playing apparel.

The Beautiful Game exclusively spoke to one of the most successful skipper’s in the club’s history, Lucky Legwathi, who said;

“Firstly I’d like to thank the Chairman and leadership of the club as well as Adidas for selecting me to model the Orlando Pirates 2020/2021 jersey.

“About the jersey Karabo, it’s beautiful, you know there will always be another colour besides the traditional black. Last time it was red; it was sold out, then green, also sold out, now it’s orange and it’s also sold out.

“Pirates supporters love the orange Champ. You must remember even supporters of other clubs love the jersey and their talking too much but it’s sold out, the orange one (Laughs).

“You know Karabo I love the orange one because it’s the first time my team is going to be using the orange one so I’m really happy and good things will come with this colour Champ,” concluded Legwathi.
