MADDISON ‘VERY HAPPY’ AT LEICESTER
Posted: 7 May 2020

James Maddison says he is “very, very happy” at Leicester City despite reports linking him with a move away. A transfer to Manchester United has been suggested following an impressive season with the Foxes. The 23-year-old midfielder, who is also an England international, has been scoring goals and making goals for Leicester, with his form catching the eye of United among many other top sides across Europe.

However, when reached for comment, he said: “I feel right at home at Leicester. I feel like part of the furniture already and I love it here, I love the lads, I love the fans, (we’ve got) a great manager, so I’m very, very happy here,” he concluded.

Maddison, who was bought for £20m (R4.6b) from Norwich City, has been adamant that he wants to remain in the Midlands with the Foxes. It remains to be seen if United will test his resolve with a massive transfer offer or he will reject it to stay with Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester beyond the summer.
