Posted: 21 May 2020
Mamelodi Sundowns owner Dr. Patrice Motsepe earlier today (21 May 2020) announced the contract extension of Head Coach Pitso Mosimane for a further four years.
Mosimane has lifted the African Champions League, the African Super Cup, four ABSA Premiership League Titles, the Nedbank Cup, and the Telkom Cup in his seven and half years at the club. Jingles took the opportunity to thank the club owner for entrusting him with a further four years, saying;
“Dumelang (greetings) Masandawana, I’m pleased to confirm that I have signed a four-year contract with the club I dearly love. Firstly, I want to thank the President of the club Dr. Patrice Motsepe and the board for the confidence they have shown in me and entrusting me with the team. I will continue doing the best for the yellow nation,” concluded Mosimane.
There have been widespread talks that the outspoken coach would leave the club as his contract was expiring at the end of June, but Dr. Motsepe has put all those talks to bed with a new long-term contract.
