Malepe: We Should Be Clinical
Posted: 14 December 2021
KwaZulu Natal side AmaZulu FC have taken the baton from Swallows FC as the 2021/2022 DStv Premiership draw kings with as many as eleven (11) draws in sixteen (16) outings.
Benni McCarthy’s team have either come from behind in matches or struggled to keep the back door shut. The club’s left-back, Tercious Malepe says it’s high time they start picking up maximum points;
“I feel we have drawn so many games and now it’s just a matter of that luck, a matter of collecting maximum points. We’ve been giving away points, there is no one to blame, we as the players have to take responsibility regarding that.
“We have another chance against Chippa United and we know how they play, we played them a couple of days ago. So going into this game we have to give everything to ensure we collect maximum points on the day.
“It’s not about how good we play if we don’t bring the results then it’s worthless. It’s a matter of winning games for the club of course. We had chances in the previous game but in the final third we should be clinical and finish our chances,” concluded Malepe.
Usuthu face an unpredictable Chippa United side this afternoon in an enticing fixture, with the fixture scheduled to kick-off at 15:H30.
