Ghana FA: SA Don’t Deserve WC Qualification

The Ghanaian Football Association’s President, Kurt Okraku has ripped into the South African Football Association after SAFA lodged a formal complaint against the Senegalese official who poorly officiated the encounter between the Black Stars and Bafana Bafana on Sunday.

The Federation of International Football Association, FIFA, have confirmed the receipt of the complaint and will make a final decision on the 23rd of this month, while Okraku saw fit to go an a rampant plea, saying;

“It’s true…it is true, this is the worst South African team that I’ve ever seen in the last five (5) years, and they don’t deserve to qualify. I’m so angry by their attitude, or with their attitude.

“Their so disrespectful to the quality and intangible assets that we have here in Ghana. It is not correct for people to show so much disrespect to a powerful football nation like Ghana, and this must not happen again, this must not happen again… This must not happen again!”, he concluded.

There seems to be no end in sight in the build-up to the final decision from FIFA, with the Ghanaian FA also releasing a statement seemingly taking a swipe at South Africa.
