Da Gama on the “Rolls Royce”
Posted: 30 April 2020
Highlands Park Football Club has never been shy on signing experienced players under the guidance and tutelage of head coach Owen Da Gama, and it was no different in the January Transfer Window. The Lions of the North, as Highlands are known, went out and signed former Orlando Pirates midfield general Musa “The Rolls Royce” Nyatama.
The experienced campaigner has had a positive impact in the team, helping them beat Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup. When asked about how Nyatama has done so far, Da Gama said “He is slowly getting there, but it’s not easy for a player to come in at this time of the season (January Window)”, he continued, “I mean firstly he has to understand how we play, but he is an absolute gem, on and off the ball, at training, he brings so much to this team and we’re actually grateful and thankful that we can have a player of his caliber at Highlands”, concluded Da Gama.
The Rubber Doll will be hoping that Nyatama blends well with the team from here on in and ensures that the team finishes in the top eight (8) again this season.
