English Premier League side Leicester City have seemingly won the race to sign highly sought-after left-back Nicholas Tagliafico.

The Argentine is currently on the books of Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam, but is closing in on a move to The King Power Stadium.

Brandon Rodgers is on the verge of losing star defender Ben Chilwell to Chelsea within the next couple of days, and has identified Tagliafico as his replacement.

The 27-year-old is expected to sign a three-year-deal with a further option with the former Premier League winners.
