Morocco Star Attracts Tottenham Interest
Posted: 26 January 2022
English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have been impressed by a Moroccan midfielder at the African Cup of Nations and want to sign him in this window.
Sofyan Amrabat has been one of the standout performers for Morocco at AFCON and Spurs’ manager Antonio Conte has told the club’s hierarchy to open talks with the gifted playmaker.
The 25-year-old is said to be in favour of moving to the English Premier League and working under Conte, who he regards as a “natural winner.”
Tottenham’s Director of Football, Fabio Paraciti is due to fly to Florence in Italy to thrash out a deal with Fiorentina. However, we understand it is a difficult deal with the club also in negotiations with Juventus for the sale of their star forward, Dusan Vlahoviç, and the club are not willing to lose two of their most-prized assets in the same window.
This is a developing story, more as we get them…
