The Beautiful Game Welcomes Top Addition, Another Incoming…

Today marks a special day in the calender of one of the fastest growing online football publication in South Africa and on the African continent, The Beautiful Game.

After months on end of talks and negotiations, we are delighted to announce the addition of one of the most sought-after football / sports creatives in the land.

Obakeng ‘Jonfranco’ Ngobeni, a proper football man born and bred, has joined The Beautiful Game on a long-term deal after turning down two approaches from other publications, which we respect and continue to learn from.

Ngobeni, a former youth footballer for Wits Juniors and played alongside current Bafana Bafana international and Kaizer Chiefs Goalkeeper, Bruce Bvuma, will add invaluable and in-depth experience to the current team.

Obakeng brings wealth of knowledge with him; he is currently a producer of one of the top shows on ETV and is a football analyst among other projects.

The promising young man joins the formidable team that includes Africa’s multiple award-winning football correspondent Baba Mali Traore, England’s Chris Wheatley, who covers Arsenal and other European clubs, as well as Selebalo Karabo Phasha.

This publication is also in talks with another giant in the space of social media content producing, and at the right time, an announcement will be made.
