Broos: We Will Suffer

Bafana Bafana will officially begin a new era under Belgian coach Hugo Broos tomorrow when they face Zimbabwe in the 2022 World Cup Qualifier match.

The experienced Broos says his team must brace themselves for suffering, explaining;

“We will suffer, I think, in the beginning of the game and I think this is something that we have to survive and we have to be mentally strong. So, this is the side that we work on, and honestly, that is something that I see it is getting better and better.

“Yeah because if I am the coach of Zimbabwe, I should try to take South Africa by the throat and try to kill them from the beginning, and that is what many coaches do. And I think that is what the Coach of Zimbabwe will try to do, to take us from the beginning, and you know at the beginning you suffer a lot, when you get one or two goals, the game is finished,” he concluded.

The encounter will kickoff at 15:H00 at the Zimbabwean national stadium and will be aired live on the national broadcaster.
