The Beautiful Game can exclusively confirm that Mamelodi Sundowns FC are finally set to sit down with all the players who will not form part of the club’s plans this season.

Sundowns completed a training camp at the University of Pretoria, popularly known as TUKS a couple of weeks ago where most players were present.

We understand that the club’s technical team have since decided who will remain at Chloorkop and who will be allowed to leave. A source close to The Beautiful Game said to us;

“Ja broer, there will be a big shake up there at Sundowns, we did speak about it the last time out. There is just too many players at the club. They have five goalkeepers, four left-backs, more than ten midfielders, so some will go,” concluded our source.

The Brazilians open their campaign in a blockbuster of a fixture against Kaizer Chiefs FC in the MTN 8 on the 15th of this month.
