New SuperSport United signing Iqraam Rayners has completed his first season in Pretoria after swapping Cape Town for Gauteng with the capital side.

The 25-year-old reflects on his first full campaign in Gauteng, exclusively speaking to The Beautiful Game and says to us;

“Ja…for me it’s a good decision that I made because for the past few seasons I was only playing in Cape Town. So to take my football to the next level and to join SuperSport United…it’s a great club, great environment, great coach.

“Everyone is always supporting me and they’ve been supporting me throughout the season and I’m enjoying being here in Johannesburg (Pretoria),” he concluded.

The stocky striker has admitted that he has been blighted by injuries and will be looking to improve on his goal-scoring ratio in the 2021/2022 season.
