Ings Tells Saints: I Want CL Football

English Premier League side Southampton FC have got a situation on their hands as their star player has told them that he wants to play European Champions League football next season.

Danny Ings, who has been in the best form of his life in the last calender year and has continued it this year, has told the club he would like to play for a top four club.

Ings, 28, has found the back of the net on thirty six (36) occasions in the past three seasons and feels it is the right time to play for a club campaigning in Europe’s top continental competition.

Our friends at Sky have told us that Tottenham Hotspur are looking at the Englishman to partner with Harry Kane next season. However, with Ings still having a year left on his current deal – running through the summer of 2022, it’s either here nor there for him.
