Ozil Touches Down In Istanbul

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil safely arrived in the capital city of Turkey, Istanbul, last night alongside his wife and child to complete his transfer to Fenerbahce as we reported seventy two hours ago.

Ozil boarded a private jet organised by Fenerbahce alongside his lovely family last night at around 21:45 CET, where he arrived in Turkey just before midnight.

The German will undergo two seperate medical assessments before penning a three-year deal with the Turkish giants and subsequently become the most-paid footballer in the history of the club and league.

Ozil brings to a close a seven and a half year association with The Gunners after a topsy-turvy end to his time in North London. The frog-eyed German has made more than 250 appearances for Arsenal, lifting two FA Cups and a couple of Community Shield trophies.
