Arsenal, Ozil Tear Up Contract

English Premier League side Arsenal Football Club and Mesut Ozil have finally reached an agreement to terminate his deal within the next twenty four hours.

Ozil has spent the past seven and a half years in North London after arriving on Transfer Deadline Day seven years ago from Real Madrid amid much fan-fare.

The German has notched up more than 250 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions and was at one stage the leading goal assister across Europe’s top five footballing leagues.

We understand he is set to join Turkish giants Fenerbache on Monday before lunchtime on a lucrative three-year deal, becoming the league’s most-paid footballer in the entire history of Turkish football.

Ozil is also of Turkish descent, with his wife also from Turkey, it is not expected to take long enough for the highly intelligent number ten to adapt in the league.
