Hlatshwayo’s Message To Bucs Fans
Posted: 11 December 2020

Orlando Pirates Football Club’s stand-in captain Tyson Hlatshwayo has sent a message to the club’s supporters ahead of their crunch encounter against Bloemfontein Celtics tomorrow in Durban.

Hlatshwayo, who has worn the captain’s armband ever since arriving in Parktown, said to the passionate Bucs’ fans;

“Yeah, the message to the supporters, as much as we have COVID-19 and everything, they can’t be there to support us and be the 12th man and rally behind us but I would like them to rally behind the team from home and make sure that they pray for us.

“They should also make sure that they support us right through the entire match as we try to win the trophy for them,” concluded Hlatshwayo.

The encounter will be Hlatshwayo’s first cup final ever since arriving from Sturrock Park in the off season. The much-anticipated fixture will be at the appealing Moses Mabhida Stadium, with kickoff pencilled in for 18:H00 South African time.
