Spanish Star Accused Of Sexual Harassment

Former FC Barcelona forward David Villa has been accused of sexual harassment by a young lady that was interning at New York City FC back in the summer of 2018.

Skyler Badillo, who was 20 when she joined NYCFC as an intern with the first-team training staff in May 2018, first leveled the allegations against Villa on Twitter in July.

In a recent interview, she said she suffered through two seasons of harassment at the club, including advances from Villa that became so frequent they were a running joke in the training room. Her supervisors, she said, enabled the behavior.

The allegations include inappropriate touching as well as frequent verbal advances by Villa. The World Cup winner, David Villa has yet to respond to the allegations against him.
