Cobra: Shabba Close To Playing

AmaZulu head coach Ayanda Dlamini has confirmed that marquee signing Siphiwe Tshabalala is close to making his debut for the KwaZulu Natal side.

Shabba, unveiled by Usuthu earlier this month amid much fan-fare, has yet to make an official appearance for the club, with “Cobra” telling The Beautiful Game that he is close to playing;

“Oh, no he is not too far, but I’ll wait for the report from the doctors. But he trained with us on Thursday and Friday, there is progress you know, but he is close to playing.

“But I will leave it to the medical team to give me a final report this week on how soon he can be available,” he concluded.

Shabba will be looking to make an official appearance for the ambitious club as he is well aware of the expectations that lie on his experienced shoulders.
