Downs Begin Life Without Jingles

Downs Begin Life Without Jingles
1 October 2020

Mamelodi Sundowns FC will today officially begin their preparations for the 2020/2021 season without inspirational coach Pitso Mosimane.

The 56-year-old resigned from his role yesterday after receiving a lucrative offer from North African giants Al Ahly.

It will feel strange at Chloorkop without Mosimane barking instructions to his well-assembled squad, but it signals a new era for the ten-time South African Premier Soccer League Champions.

The Beautiful Game understands that long-time assistant coach Manqoba Mngqithi, alongside goalkeeper coach Wendall Robinson will head the training sessions at the club for the foreseeable future.

There has been mooted talks within the corridors of Chloorkop to hand over the reigns to the former Golden Arrows head coach as he understands the culture and tradition of The Brazilians, as well as the players at his disposal.

The Beautiful Game will keep you posted with new developments as we get them.
