Chiefs Hopeful On CAS Decision

The Beautiful Game can exclusively reveal that Kaizer Chiefs are confident on the uplifting of their ban ordered upon them by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).

The Beautiful Game’s Senior correspondent, Baba Mali Traore indicated after being close to the situation, saying;

“The Kaizer Chiefs understand the situation their under, and quite rightly so. But CAS are also putting the merits and demirits of the case, it looks positive for the club.

“Remember it is also the first time their in this type of sitting, they’ve never contravened the rules similar to this. The harshest sentence might be a hefty fine or a one window ban,” concluded the multiple Award Winner.

FIFA had previously imposed a two-window ban on the club, but we understand that there will be a resolution from CAS in the next couple of weeks, and it looks very positive for the Soweto-based giants.
