Chiefs’ Nurkovic Hopes For Victory

Kaizer Chiefs striker Samir Nurkovic is hoping they can secure a victory that will see them lift the ABSA Premiership title. The Phefeni Glamour Boys face Baroka FC this afternoon, with a win almost certain to give them the R15m, Nurkovic said;

“It’s a really important game for us, like everybody knows we had a very good season and we were on the top since the beginning, definitely we are going to give our best until the last match.

“We will try to secure this win so that we win the title. I think the team deserves it because we have been fighting for more than a year,” he concluded.

They face a Baroka side who were beaten 4-1 by SuperSport United and looking to remain in this league themselves, it will not be easy sailing for Nurkovic and co.

All 16 ABSA Premiership sides will kickoff at 15:30 to avoid giving another an advantage.
