Ajax CPT Boss Lauds Top-scorer

Ajax Cape Town interim coach Calvin Marlin is hoping star striker Abednego Mosiathlaha makes it for the biggest game of his football career on Sunday at the Rand Stadium.

Ajax will be facing Mbombela United in the next 48 hours in a game that will decide if they ply their trade in the riches of the ABSA Premiership or the GladAfrica league, with Marlin lauding the North-West born midfielder,saying;

“He has been massive for this club as you said; he is on 17 goals for us, he has been massive for our club and we have missed his influence in the team.

“He has worked really hard and done excellent for the club, so I hope he comes back and scores goals for us,” he concluded.

The 24-year-old is in a race against time to be fit for Sunday’s crunch encounter as he has been suffering from a groin problem, but Marlin is hopeful of his return.
