Orlando Pirates skipper Happy Jele has revealed that he has been speaking with the division’s top-goal scorer Ghabadinho Mhango in recent weeks. The Malawian international has failed to score for the Buccaneers since the restart, with Jele revealing the talks with the striker, saying;

“Yes, my brother, I talk to Mhango, almost every day, before or after training just to motivate him you know, I tell him that the goals will come. But its not about him only, its about the team, each and everyone of us have to try and score, and sometimes he puts pressure on himself and we don’t want that. We need him to be calm so that he finishes off the opportunities,” concluded the Mpumalanga-born defender.

Mhango is still leading the goal-scoring charts with fourteen goals, but with rival and nemesis Samir Nurkovic of Kaizer Chiefs breathing heavily on his neck, the Malawian might just need to rediscover his scoring boots.
