We understand that English giants Chelsea Football Club have opened talks with Thiago Silva’s representatives earlier in the week.

Silva will be leaving Paris Saint-Germaine in the summer after spending eight seasons in the City of Love. Our sources in Paris and London have reliably informed us that Silva is most likely to remain in Europe, and with Chelsea interested in the Brazilian skipper, it is a possibility for him to sign for Frank Lampard’s side.

Paulo Tonietto, the players agent, has confirmed to us that it is not only Chelsea interested in his client’s services, but also three unnamed clubs.
