EXCLUSIVE: Ertugal Keen On Return!

Former Ajax Cape Town head coach Mushin Ertugal has exclusively spoke to The Beautiful Game from his native Turkey and has not closed the door on a return to club-side football in the future. The Turkish is currently the Technical Director of his national team and says although he enjoys the role, he will one day return to the rigors of day-to-day football, saying;

“I’m a hands-on person, I have been on three different continents to work at really big clubs; the Turkish Premier league, the German Bundesliga, in Austria, so obviously I will like to return to club football,”

When pressed for when, he said; “You never know, there were offers from Austria before the pandemic but I chose this ride (referring to the Turkish role), but I would love to return. I’m still young in terms of age, so you never know really. So if I can fulfill the level of expectations here in the Turkish national team, I am open to returning, why not?” He concluded.

Mushin is one of the most animated football personalities in world football and has managed Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Maritzburg United, and Mpumalanga Black Aces among others in South Africa.
