BREAKING: ‘His A Sundowns Player’
Posted: 12 July 2020
The Beautiful Game has it on good authority that reigning ABSA Premiership Champions Mamelodi Sundowns have already signed Ugandan goalkeeper Ismael Watenga. The 25-year-old shot stopper has been identified as a long-term heir to Denis Onyango. Our African Football Correspondent, Baba Traore Mali confirmed the news, saying;
“Yes, it is true my brother, he actually signed for (the) Sundowns a couple of months ago, I know the club has not announced it but he has signed. C’est drole parce que c’est Denis qui l’a endosse a Sundowns (Its funny because it is Denis who endorsed him to Sundowns), trust me my brother, he is going to join the club after the pandemie (pandemic),” concluded the Award-winning Mali Traore.
The 25-year-old ‘keeper is currently playing in his homeland for Vipers S.C and is expected to join the Brazilians when the pandemic has subsided, according to our football correspondent in Africa Mr. Mali.
