Exclusive: Mushin Ertugal Reveals Two Best Players…

Former Kaizer Chiefs and Ajax Cape Town mentor Mushin Ertugal recently had an exclusive interview with The Beautiful Game and revealed the two best players he has ever worked with in South Africa.

The Turk is currently the Technical Director of the Turkish national team after he was offered the role towards the end of last year. Mushin, often animated on the side of the pitch, revealed the best players he has ever worked with, saying;

“Ohh, their too many of them… Where do you start, where do you stop actually? But really… You know that Jabu (Pule, now Mahlangu) was really a player for me that I ever, ever come across.  He was very special in skill, understanding the tactical aspect of the game and other issues on the pitch,” he continued;

“Siyabonga Nomvethe also was very good; he scored 22 goals under me and went straight to Italy, his a player that I also loved to work with,” concluded Ertugal.

Mushin is one of the foreign coached who has been highly successful in the PSL; winning the PSL title, cup competitions and also producing a lot of Academy players at Ikamva.
