Former Orlando Pirates Interim Head Coach Rhulani Mokwena has clarified a few issues that were surrounding him before he joined Chippa United in a strange move. The 33-year-old coach started by easing the concerns of his followers and upcoming coaches by saying;
“Well, life is good, we are in a situation where of course everything is at a halt at the moment, but we continue to work, we continue to graft and put in the work for the resumption of the league season but Ja, we are in the windy city but we are enjoying”

The gifted tactician joined the Chilli Boys in a bizarre deal, and he clarified the contract situation by continuing to say “Ja, I think its unfortunate because Ole Gunnar Soljaer was also on-loan to Man United before he got the job on a permanent basis”, asked if he was appointed on an interim basis, he said “I know I am the Head Coach of Chippa United, currently I’ve got a 6-month-contract and of course that is in respect with the contract I still have with Orlando Pirates and the agreement between the two clubs”, he concluded.

The Port Elizabeth-based side are currently on 12th spot with 26 points, and have six more games left to play.  Mokwena has only managed one game with the team before the world pandemic the corona virus and secured a valuable point against Bidvest Wits away from home.
