Posted; 18 April 2020
The Beautiful Game recently spoke to one of the top football commentators in world football today, Jim Beglin. The Irishman, who has been commentating in the English Premier League for more than a decade, has revealed one of the most special moments in his commentary career. The gifted commentator said “I worked on the World Cup opener between South Africa and Mexico in 2010 at Soccer City, that was absolutely special for me if I’m being brutally honest with you”.
Jim concluded by listing one of the memories he has about commentating in the first-ever World Cup held in Africa “The Tshabalala goal will long live in the memory for me”, asked about any souvenir he has for the football spectacle, he said “I’ve still got the Vuvuzela with me!”
