A life of a professional footballer has always been about the glitz, the glam, and the spotlight. Footballers have often flaunted their super cars, their clothing brands and stylish apartments during their playing days. In South Africa, right through the ex and errors, this sport can bridge the gap and help a young, talented and aspiring footballer to live large…but what happens post their playing days?

More often than not, footballers have been found wanting post football, to an extent that some are kicked out of their houses and see their cars repossessed.

A new show, simply labeled Off Pitch Goals, will be looking at footballers and their businesses off the pitch. The show seeks to serve as inspiration to all players in the top division and the GladAfrica Championship the importance of securing their future whilst playing the beautiful game. Some inspiring stories of footballers who have made massive steps for their futures include former Kaizer Chiefs superstars Siphiwe Tshabalala and Renielwe Letsholonyane, who own an up market club named after them, ShaYe Lounge.

Off Pitch Goals is one interesting show that will unpack all other footballers who have scored off the pitch, such as Tsholofelo Teko Modise, Thuso Phala and the likes, The Beautiful Game will bring you an update on all those stories presented by Off Pitch Goals.
