Bucs Release List Being Finalized

Soweto giants Orlando Pirates Football Club are set to follow suite in releasing a number of players in the next couple of days and weeks after adding two players to their roster recently. 

The Sea Robbers confirmed the arrivals of center backs Thapelo Xoki and Nkosinathi Sibisi from AmaZulu FC and Lamontville Golden Arrows respectively.

However, twelve or more players are set to be released from their contracts, while others, their deals will not be extended. Our trusted source said to us;

“Pirates is not happy with the season they had, they are a big brand and they demand a lot from the players and the technical team.  Of course, they reached the final of the CAF Confederations Cup but this is Pirates and they were expected to beat that Moroccan team.

“A lot of players will be released; players whose contracts are ending, players who haven’t played much and players whose contracts have a year or so to lapse.

“We have already seen a big casualty with Thulani Hlatswayo leaving, more will follow, trust me my man,” concluded our source.
