Limpopo-based DSTV Premiership side Baroka FC are in real danger of playing their football in the GladAfrica Championship next season if results don’t change in the coming weeks.

Bakgaga were comprehensively beaten 4-0 by neighbours Sekhukhune United in the provincial Derby played at the Ellis Park Stadium, Johannesburg, yesterday evening.

Kgoloko Thobejane’s side have picked up six points from a possible twenty seven in their last nine league games. Thobejane has brought some stability to the club after being recalled in late November last year, however, the performance last night brings a lot of questions rather than answers.

Kurishi Mphahlele, the club’s owner, will be worried by how they conceded the four goals against their rivals in their drubbing last night.

Baroka face an equally unpredictable Kaizer Chiefs FC over the weekend, with three points almost a must for both clubs in the DSTV Premiership on Saturday.
