Premier League Star Apologises For Kicking His Pet
Posted: 8 February 2022
An English Premier League and West Ham United defender has recently apologised for his wild actions against his pet in recent days.
Kurt Zouma, a French international, was filmed on camera kicking his pet over the weekend after their win in the FA Cup.
Zouma can be seen in his kitchen picking up the cat before dropping it and booting it into the air across the kitchen.
He is also seen chasing the Bengal cat around his dining room in front of a child while the cameraman is heard laughing. We understand that the man laughing in the background and taking the video is his brother.
Zouma has since apologized, saying;
“I also want to say how deeply sorry I am to anyone who was upset by the video,” he said. “I would like to assure everyone that our two cats are perfectly fine and healthy.
“They are loved and cherished by our entire family, and this behaviour was an isolated incident that will not happen again,” he concluded.
The 27-year-old’s club, West Ham have confirmed that they will deal with the matter internally but is not expected to be suspended.
