Mamelodi Sundowns FC yesterday released a documentary film of their former super star and legend Tsholofelo Teko Dona Modise on popular platform, YouTube.

The documentary documents Modise’s hardships in football and how many thought he was cursed in football. Sundowns’ midfielder, Lebogang Maboe reacts to the documentary, saying;

“I think it’s a very, very inspirational story for so many of us to watch you know. It goes without a doubt that Teko Modise has been a superhero to so many of us in the townships and just hearing his side of the story.

“I mean just hearing how things went from bad to being such a superhero to so many… it’s such an inspirational story to so many.

“It just goes to show that as long as you are dedicated to your craft, and you work very hard, the sky is certainly the limit and I think it’s very important for the kids to watch it you know.

“I think the young ones should know that you can’t let a certain stage in your life define who you want to be and it’s very inspirational, and I really wish that so many of our kids can watch and learn from it,” concluded Maboe.

Modise has gone on to being an ambassador for The Brazilians and a football pundit for broadcasting giants SuperSport International.
