‘We’re Staying In This League’
Posted: 7 January 2021
Limpopo-based side Baroka FC are in real danger of playing GladAfrica Championship football next season if results don’t change in the second half of the campaign.
Bakgaga are currently fifteenth (15th) on the DSTV Premiership standings with thirteen (13) points from seventeen (17) outings.
However, the club’s returning Head Coach, Kgoloko Thobejane exclusively tells The Beautiful Game;
“Ja, as long as we are still in this league, I don’t think…I think only, only if we can beef up the team and we can get…we go all out and get players who can do what we want.
“I don’t think Baroka FC can get relegated, those players we need…quality, can be young or old, we’re not looking at someone who has experience or what. Young…brilliant players, we can make it.
“We can make it, this is our job, we can’t run away from it. It happens that teams struggle to get points, because of some reasons, so once we correct what we don’t have, then results will come, results will come,” concluded the confident Thobejane.
The flamboyant gaffer and his lads will have to start picking up maximum points next month if they wish to remain in this league.
