Dan ‘Dance’ Grateful For Point
Posted: 15 December 2021
DStv Premiership team Marumo Gallants FC were forced to a goal-less draw against a well-defined and inspirational Cape Town City FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium yesterday afternoon.
Gallants’ Head Coach, Dan Dance Malesela was visibly happy with a point after his side came under tremendous amount of pressure, saying;
“Yeah look a very difficult game, could have gone anywhere, to any team. There were a lot of time where we had to manage their attacks and their possession.
“I think nil-nil (0-0) is a very fair result to this game, irrespective. They played well and we we also did well in our times you know, so I think it’s a fair result.
When asked what he could’ve changed to win the match, he said;
“There were individuals in the match that really didn’t show up you know, and it really cost us. Everytime we got the ball forward them we lost it through individual errors. And obviously that was the changes I made and things got better,” concluded Malesela.
Gallants’ have been on a upward trend in recent weeks after three successive victories, until the Citizens halted their trajectory with a draw twenty four (24) hours ago.
