DSTV Premiership side Chippa United were left reeling yesterday after being walloped five-one by fellow strugglers Maritzburg United.

The drubbing will ring long in the ears of Head Coach Dan Dance Malesela, who said post-match;

“We were mostly beaten by determination, and all the mistakes we made in the game. The hunger to want to win as opposed to what Maritzburg was offering…it was not the same from us, you know.

“The will to want to go forward and to play, irrespective of what happens, it was not the same as the opponents we faced. We are beaten by our mistakes and determine, the sooner we learn to be a bit matured and disciplined, the better for us.

“But it’s not time to complain, it is a time to reflect and see what the way forward will be because if we keep complaining, we won’t be able to able to fix anything, you know,” concluded Dan Dance.

The Beautiful Game can exclusively reveal that club boss Chippa Mpengese has requested a meeting with the technical team when they touch down in Eastern Cape.
