PSL: Deadline Day Possible Arrivals
Posted: 31 January 2022
The January Transfer Market is set to close shut at midnight with clubs now upping their ante in trying to finalize moves.
The Beautiful Game, alongside it’s trusted sources countrywide, look at moves that might still materialise before 23:59:59 tonight.
Kaizer Chiefs:
We understand that Kaizer Chiefs FC have met with the AmaZulu FC hierarchy over the past 48 hours and have apologized for the way they handled the entire transfer debacle of midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe and a deal might still be concluded today.
Staying with The Phefeni Glamour Boys, Chiefs have also put in another offer to SuperSport United for mercurial playmaker Sipho Mbule with the hope of the player switching to Naturena in this window rather than waiting for the end of the season.
SuperSport United
Matsatsantsa have been hit hard in this window with the departure of long-serving midfielder Teboho Mokoena to Mamelodi Sundowns. We’ve been reliably informed that United are desperate to bring in two new players in this window and Mamelodi Sundowns’ George Maluleka’s name has been mentioned.
We also understand that Aubrey Ngoma will be afforded an opportunity at the club after undergoing trial, while promising youngster Promise Mkhuma might be offered to Kaitano Tembo’s side.
Orlando Pirates Football Club
The Sea Robbers are yet to bring in any new signing in this window. However, we’ve been led to believe that Royal AM FC striker Victor Letsoalo is high on the list of Pirates and talks have since started for the arrival of the Limpopo-born striker.
Cape Town City FC
The Western Cape side have seen more outgoings then incomings during the month of January and we’ve been reliably told that Thabo Nodada is another player that might, just might leave the club.
However, Head Coach Eric Tinkler and club boss John Comitis have drawn up a long list of players who are being monitored to arrive at the training grounds of City before midnight.
More transfers as we get them during the day….
